The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is gearing up for another major technological leap. NVIDIA has confirmed that The Witcher 3 Remastered will be released on September 29th and will bring full-fledged path tracing capabilities to PC, which will fundamentally change global illumination, reflections and shadows in Geralt’s world. All owners of the original game will receive a completely free visual upgrade.

To handle the massive load of full path tracing, developers are incorporating the latest versions of upgrades and frame generation technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, as well as support for competing alternative solutions such as AMD FSR 4 and Intel XeSS 2.0.

Are you planning to return to The Witcher 3 and appreciate the beauty of proper lighting through path tracing in the fantasy world of The Witcher?
