NC Company announced that it will block the accounts of “AION 2” players who organize, promote or use services that deliver game content to other users. The breaches were discovered following the release of a new 10-player raid dungeon called “Snowfield of Sorrow” (비탄의설원), which is considered the most difficult PvE challenge currently available.
According to the developers, some players have organized a “commercial service” through which they use their own accounts to repeatedly deliver content to other users. 11 accounts were permanently blocked due to organizations, advertisements and intermediaries offering such services.
A further nine accounts were blocked for 30 days. Their owners use the services to complete new raids, receive rewards, game currency or character development benefits, and help the organizers of such services to access accounts and complete the authorization process.
In addition, all accounts have been deprived of the right to participate in the “Glory of the First Conqueror: Snowfields of Sorrow” special event. It was introduced after the addition of new raids and was designed to identify the strongest players who could complete the new content the fastest. These awards include a unique title and three types of pets.
The NC stressed that when considering such cases, they will take into account the nature and quantity of the violations, their degree of organization and the impact on gambling services. In addition, the company also announced that it will continue to identify and suppress behavior that violates the rules of “Aion 2” and creates unequal conditions for players.
