Insomniac Games studio is preparing to release its new superhero exclusive Marvel’s Wolverine, which will be released on the PlayStation 5 console on September 15th. First reviews from specialist publications show the project receiving more restrained ratings than the developer’s past Spider-Man titles.

On the aggregators OpenCritic and Metacritic, the new entry has an average score of 79 (75% recommended as playable) and 78 respectively, while the series spiderman Stay above 85 points.

Critics were divided: some praised the project for its brutal combat system, deep immersion in the character of Logan, and atmospheric story that serves as the beginning of a new X-Men universe. Others have criticized the story’s pacing issues and lack of player freedom, but analysts agree that this won’t stop the game from collecting millions of copies.
