During BlizzCon, a new game in the StarCraft series was announced in a long-awaited way. Currently, it does not have a full name and has not revealed any details. Obviously this is a third-person shooter. The game was announced via a cinematic trailer, which made it clear that the protagonist will be a Dominion soldier.
In the trailer, the General speaks to Dominion soldiers preparing to fight the Swarm and the Firstborn. He calls on the soldiers to defend humanity and not to retreat to the enemy, and the film then shows the training and battle scenes in which the soldiers participated. The main focus is on the Dominion warriors themselves. The general called them the best of the best and promised to provide the necessary weapons to make them the most powerful fighting force in the region.
In the announcement, the developers also said that StarCraft will “return in 2030,” which could be considered a tentative release window for the project. The game’s platforms have not yet been announced, nor has it been confirmed that it will be released on Game Pass.
