simulation Demon’s Souls Remastered PC useKatie PS5 It seems like a big step forward. According to footage on the PSXTech YouTube channel, the latest version of the emulator has actually hit 30 frames per second in some parts of the game, although the results haven’t stabilized yet and frame rates frequently fall below that threshold. However, this is a pretty impressive result considering that just a few days ago it couldn’t exceed one frame per second.
Evolving emulator
This milestone marks another step forward in the development of the simulator. The first goal is just to be able to launch the gamewhile the second is to get to the actual playable part. Therefore, achieving 30 FPS is considered the third fundamental milestone.
In the video posted by PSXTech, you can see that Demon’s Souls Remake reaches 30 FPS in certain areas. However, things change when the camera moves: in these cases, the frame rate may change. Dropped to around 18 FPS. There are also some frame pacing issues, so the experience is far from being stable and usable at 30 FPS.
Another important factor to consider is that the video does not specify Hardware configuration used to run the game. Therefore, there is no information about the processor and graphics card of the PC used to create the movie, making it difficult to evaluate the performance of the emulator relative to the hardware.
The build shown in the video is not yet available on GitHub. Therefore it is currently possible Experiment only with older versions of the emulatorwaiting for release for testing.
