We’re still waiting for announcements about upcoming games Xbox Game Pass Second half of September, but in the meantime we can make the first partial list Seven games confirmed for Octoberalthough obviously there are More on the way.
Let’s take a look at which games have been announced for Game Pass at launch in October 2026 or later:

The list only involves games that have been announced in advance for their upcoming launches, and will be joined by others, but some games will be part of the first wave of games this month and others will be part of the second wave of games this month.

The most anticipated game is undoubtedly Gears of War: E-DayIt’s destined to be one of the main Xbox games this year, but given the series’ popularity, it’s widely expected to remain so even outside of the subscription service.
The new chapter has been starring in the multiplayer beta and seems to have been well received, so the league-managed game is expected to return in style.

Echo Weaver It’s a fun metroidvania based on a time loop and various upgrades for the main character, while it’s a dungeon crawler but with a mix between puzzle, metroidvania and crafting.
Valor Mortis is a fun action RPG with Souls-like elements that takes us into the dark and terrifying Napoleonic era, transforming the war front into a metaphysical fight against the forces of darkness.
Beyond These Stars is a city construction and management game that takes you to build a civilization on the back of a whale floating in space while Séance at Black Manor is an engaging detective mystery-style adventure game with supernatural elements, composed of puzzles and narrative.
Finally, Strange Horror Lizard is a first-person action game focused on parkour and facing disturbing and aggressive dinosaurs. In the meantime, we’d like to point out that games coming to Game Pass in the second half of September are expected to be released next week, on Tuesday or Wednesday.
