Grand Theft Auto VI: First known voice actor officially confirmed

It’s been confirmed for the first time that the famous speaker will have a role in Rockstar Games’ upcoming action blockbuster. For months, there has been a lot of speculation in the community about who would be playing individual characters in the game.

When it comes to who will appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, and who might provide the look for which character, the fandom has been feverishly speculating and wondering since the first trailer was released. Rockstar Games has yet to make any official announcement regarding the character. At least one actor has been confirmed to appear in the game for the first time.

Stephen Root himself did not miss the opportunity to make this fact public. The actor and speaker, who you know as Wyck in “The Bay” or Bubbles in “Finding Dory,” among others, comments AP News Accordingly, at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) tea party.

“Yeah, you’ll see me there. My character has been there since it was first released about a year ago, and so many people know me from King of the Hill and my voice, so I think the secret was out at that point,” Root said. “I’m so excited to be a part of it – it’s been great to watch.”

However, the actor did not reveal which specific character he will be voicing in the game. Speculation in the fandom is that he could be Brian Heder, a retired smuggler who hired Jason in the game. The character also appears in a long shot on Netflix where he meets Jason and Lucia at a rooftop party.
