Russian car brand Tenet currently produces Chery clones in the country, report About the full-size crossover T9 goes on sale. Starting today, the cars will start arriving at dealers in two trim levels – “Prime” and “Ultra”, priced at 3,749,000 rubles and 4,099,000 rubles respectively when purchased through a trade-in promotion.

Tenet T9 is a similar product to Chery Tiggo 9 and has the same “tactical and technical characteristics”. Under the hood is a 2-liter turbo engine with 245 horsepower “before tax.” s., and uses an 8-band classic hydro-mechanical “automatic” transmission. Because the car is so heavy, this powerplant can accelerate it to 100 km/h in 9.3 seconds, which isn’t usually fast by modern standards.
In terms of body size, Tenet T9 is 4810 mm long, 1925 mm wide, 1741 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2800 mm. In short, the manufacturer markets this crossover as a full-size crossover, but in reality it’s only slightly larger than a midsize crossover. By full-size, we usually mean crossovers that are about 5000 mm or more in length and have a wheelbase of about 3000 mm or more.
In the “Prime” configuration, the Tenet T9 is already equipped with all key features, safety systems, options and electronic assistants. As for the Ultra version, it adds front seat ventilation, advanced driver’s seat adjustment, a front seat massage system and a head-up display.
