Game Pass has lost a large number of games in each “window” in recent months, with games typically being removed from the subscription mid-month and end-of-month. On September 15, 10 games were removed from Game Pass at once, including several large-scale projects such as “Cyberpunk2077”. And now the Xbox team has announced that it will remove another 8 games from the service at the end of September.

September 30th will be the last day for Game Pass subscriptions for the following 8 projects:

  • Atomic Fall (Xbox, PC)
  • Lara Croft and the Keeper of Light (Xbox, PC)
  • Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition (Xbox, PC)
  • Little Rocket Lab (Xbox, PC)
  • Master (Xbox, PC)
  • SOPA Stolen Potato Story (Xbox, PC)
  • Oath (Xbox, PC)
  • Terminal Brigade (Xbox, PC)

As you can see, all listed games will be removed, whether on console or PC.

The list includes several major projects that have received critical acclaim from audiences. That includes Rebellion Studios’ Atomfall, which has attracted more than 3.5 million players, largely thanks to Game Pass subscriptions. Previously, developers praised the subscription partnership with Microsoft.

Also noteworthy losses are The Master and Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition – neither of which are AAA games but have been well received by gamers.

Note that the Xbox team also announced the list of games that will be added to Game Pass in late September and early October.
