PlayStation Plus: Includes horror hits – 8 games to be discontinued in October

In October, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have to say goodbye to a total of eight games. Unfortunately, there’s also a well-known horror involved.

Sony regularly rolls out new content for its PlayStation Plus gaming subscription, but in return you always have to say goodbye to a lot of games. As September’s lineup begins, the “Last Chance to Play” section has been updated once again, revealing a look at which games you’ll have to give up this coming October. If you still want to play these games, you only have a few weeks left.

This should be worth it for many gamers, especially Silent Hill 2, as the popular horror remake is one of the most famous games to be leaving PlayStation Plus in the near future. Other more well-known games like Yakuza: Like a Dragon or Jurassic World Evolution 2 also appear on this list.

All 8 flights in October at a glance:

  • silent hill 2

  • Like a dragon: like a dragon

  • Jurassic World: Evolution 2

  • death squared

  • Thief Lord

  • Darkhaven Mercenary Edition

  • Harvent Moon: Ray of Hope Special Edition

  • lake

If all goes as planned, these games may no longer be part of PlayStation Plus from October 20, 2026.
