Developer of publisher tinyBuild and St. Petersburg studio Fire & Frost reportthe gothic open-world fantasy role-playing game Ash and Steel, further development will not be limited to patches.

It is understood that Ash and Steel’s Shattered Faith story add-on content will be released. The add-on will propose joining an adventure into the forgotten corners of the Gray Well and utilizing the magic of two schools of magic: the Order of the Seven and the Free Hunters.
With ancient knowledge at their disposal, users of Shattered Faith will be able to travel through space, delve deep underground, and find themselves in places they have never been before.
Shattered Faith also includes new fighting styles and weapon classes, an enchantment system, six locations, unknown monsters, the ability to create your own guild, 12 special perks and over 50 random events.
Shattered Faith will release alongside the premiere of Ash and Steel on PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The joint release of the add-on and console versions comes with a minute and a half Game trailer.
In anticipation of the add-on’s release (no premiere time specified), the main game will receive “At least one more update with fixes and improvements”. Details will be shared prior to release.
Ashes and Steel will be released on November 24, 2025 steam and GOG. The game has received “mixed” reviews on Valve’s service, but the project’s rating on the site has increased slightly – from 65% to 66% – compared to the July 1.08 update.
