Smilegate has released the first major content update for the MMORPG Eclipse: The Awakening, adding a new faction mode (RvR) to the game “High River Battlefield”. The new mode is a dynamic 10-minute battle in a 10 vs. 10 format, where the first faction to score a target score and eliminate their opponent wins. Combat is seamless and opens up space for tactics thanks to vertical gameplay with elevation changes and instant respawns.
The patch also fulfills a promise executive producer Lee Sang Moon made in a recent broadcast. The developers have carried out the first phase of balancing, greatly improving the survivability of BB professions such as warriors and assassins, adding an automatic sprint function when approaching the target during the monster spawning process, and also increasing the total amount of gold coins dropped. In addition, the game also introduces the permanent event “Search for Hidden Dodoru”, which increases gold production by 30% and provides valuable treasure chests and currency for finding rare characters in locations.
