Jotoyo Studio has announced the first public beta of its action-adventure game, which contains elements of the cozy simulator Monster Fantasy. Testing will begin on September 22, 2026, and will last for a limited time. You can already apply to participate through the following methods steam.
Monster Fantasy combines hunting large monsters with elements of a life simulator. Players will travel to the kingdom of Eldoras as an amnesiac hero to explore its territory, fight creatures and earn rewards. There are about 50 large monsters with different behaviors in the game, and the winning creature can be tamed and turned into a pet.
There are four hunting classes: warrior, mage, archer, and martial artist. They each use their own combat system, so players can focus on one career or develop all four. Tamed monsters also join the fight, some of which can be used to navigate valleys, rainforests, snowfields, and other areas.
The world of Monster Fantasy isn’t limited to hunting. In your free time, you can fish, mine resources, cook food, and craft equipment. The village is home to about 100 residents, all with their own personalities, interests, and abilities, and developing relationships with them is another part of the game.
Monster Fantasy is a paid game with single-player mode and the possibility of co-op. It is planned to be released on Steam in 2027.
