However, the number of “fathers” is still significantly increasing, and the corresponding statistics shared Analyst at Renaissance Insurance Company. The survey shows that more than half (i.e. 57%) of drivers turn off the car’s active safety systems, such as lane maintenance, collision warning and automatic braking before obstacles, thinking that these systems are annoying and deprive the driver of the sense of control of the car.
At the same time, respondents noted that not all electronic systems and assistants are equally annoying: some of them are useful. Examples include blind spot monitoring sensors, omnidirectional cameras and parking assistants.
As for other elements of car improvement, 71% of drivers consider a DVR a must, 64% consider a smartphone holder, and 59% consider using a Bluetooth headset to make calls while driving.
