NC and DynamisOne have announced that Astrae Oratio is scheduled to be released on iOS and Android platforms in 2027, with the game coming to PC later. A new prologue trailer has also been released; the developers have confirmed that the main plot will be fully dubbed in Japanese.
Astrae Oratio is an RPG with the theme of “bureaucracy and magic”. The operation took place in Tokyo during a period of rapid economic growth for the city. The game presents a world where magicians and ordinary people coexist. The player plays an ordinary local government official who is accidentally transferred to a mysterious department called the Special Administrative Region, which controls the entire magical world of Tokyo.
As an official in charge of Tokyo’s magical world, the protagonist must deal with various incidents involving “magical girls” living in Tokyo. Gameplay combines strategic, real-time 3D combat with elements of turn-based mechanics, and the plot is presented in the form of a visual novel with selectable lines of dialogue.
