Xbox and The Coalition have released the final system requirements for Gears of War: E-Day and discussed the features of the PC version. The PC version will support DLSS 4.5, FSR 4 and XeSS 3.0t, hardware ray tracing for reflections, shadows and global illumination, built-in benchmarks, HDR and ultrawide displays.
All specified configurations are designed for high-end use. For 1080p at 60 fps at medium settings, you’ll need an RTX 5050/2060 or RX 6600/9060, 12 GB RAM, and 6 GB video memory. For 1440p at 60+ fps at high settings, you’ll need an RTX 5060/3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT/9060 XT and 16 GB RAM.
Maximum settings are designed for 4K at 60+ fps and require a Core i7-14700K or Ryzen 7 7800X3D combined with an RTX 5070 Ti or RX 7900 XT. In all cases, installation requires a 115 GB SSD.
Gears of War: E-Day will be released on October 6th on PC and Xbox Series (including Game Pass). On PC, the game will be available on Steam and the Microsoft Store.
