Game Freak has released the biggest update to Beast of Reincarnation since launch. Along with this, some popular features were added to the game and the author announced plans for further development of the project.
The released update for Samsara Beast allows players to skip almost all cutscenes. Additionally, in New Game+ mode, you can now disable the recurring display of viewed prompts and reassign the keys used to toggle ammo slots.
In future updates, Game Freak is considering the following possibilities:
- Makes replaying easier in New Game+. After completing the Great Wall Terraces area, they hope to allow players to skip the starting areas of the Pilgrimage Area, Matsukawa Colony Area, and Fuji Frontier Area in order to quickly enter the main stages of the story.
- Redesign individual bosses to make battles more diverse and interesting.
- Increase the difficulty. The developers have stated that they intend to add a more difficult option than Hard Mode on the first playthrough. They are currently still selecting additional difficulty levels for New Game+.
- Changes to automatic loot selection, dialogue display speed, and cutscene duration.
Let’s remember that Samsara Beast received average ratings upon release, but the developers admitted that the number of players exceeded their expectations. They also praised the Game Pass subscription, which included the game on launch day.
