With a slew of new titles expected to be released in October, publishers are trying to stand out from the competition to attract more attention to their new titles. Releasing a demo is one such way. Trials for two new October products were announced at Gamescom 2026.
On September 24, 2026, the trial version of “Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Remastered Edition” will be released and is expected to be released on October 1. Players will have one week to try out Omega Force’s updated version of the classic game and make a purchase decision. The game itself is already available for pre-order, with the base version priced at $39.99.
The demo version of “Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse” will be released on October 1, 2026. The complete new installment of Konami’s long-awaited series is scheduled to be released on October 15, 2026. In the demo version, players will be able to experience the beginning of the adventure, and progress will carry over to the final version. The game itself is available to pre-order now for $29.99, with previous rumors suggesting it might be released on Game Pass.
