Six-wheeled delivery trucks have long been a common sight for Muscovites. The number of these hard-working children is increasing every year, and Moscow is actively organizing special parking areas to accommodate them. how report Maxim Liksutov, Moscow’s deputy mayor for transportation, said that 234 parking areas for delivery robots have been marked in the capital.

At the same time, as Liksutov pointed out, when creating such a zone, many parameters are taken into account. It must not interfere with pedestrian activities. It must be no less than 25 meters away from subway stations, MCC, and MCD halls, and it must not be located in restricted areas such as ramps, stairs, bicycle lanes, or important locations in public facilities.
It should be understood that as delivery robots become more popular, they will not yet be able to replace human couriers. The robot still can’t open doors, climb stairs or use elevators. Once this becomes possible, someone will have to retrain and change health-promoting careers into something else.
