The debut of the new Googlebook series will soon bring to market five laptops from different manufacturers, all sharing high-resolution touch displays. However, the Acer Googlebook 14 stands out for features that other models lack: The screen can be fully rotated on the hinge.
Therefore, the convertible format allows you to use your computer as a regular laptop or convert it into tablet or “tent” mode to view content while taking up less space. The panel also supports the USI 2.0 standard, making it compatible with digital pens that comply with the protocol.
Acer Googlebook 14: OLED 2,8K e Intel Core Ultra
The display of the Acer Googlebook 14 uses 14-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Acer also announced full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, a feature designed to make laptops suitable for people who work with visual content.
In terms of hardware, Intel Core Ultra processors are available, up to Ultra 7 355 models, with 16 or 32 GB LPDDR5X memory. The setting is also designed for artificial intelligence capabilities to run directly on the device, which is one of the core elements of the Googlebook experience.

In the United States, the Googlebook 14 with Intel Core Ultra 5 and 16 GB of RAM starts at $899 (about 765 euros), while in Europe it starts at 1,199 euros. It is expected to be available in early October together with other models in the new series. For Italy, however, official prices and launch dates have yet to be announced.
