Bladework Games has announced a third-person multiplayer PvPvE action game called Marked for Mayhem. Marked for Mayhem is a multiplayer action game set in the destroyed reality of Garrus, where multiple dimensions intersect. Players take on the role of an operator and participate in an interdimensional competition organized by the powerful organization HAVEN. During the mission, they must battle dangerous opponents and bosses while competing against each other for medals and a spot on the leaderboard. In addition to regular combat encounters, missions include arena play, mental space challenges and timed races, with the ability to gain an advantage by sabotaging your opponent and taking advantage of their attacks.
Before each mission, players select a weapon, develop its abilities and build a version with modifiers and new skills. Discovered combinations of improvements allow you to tailor your playstyle to specific matches, and after completing a match you can modify your drone for additional enhancements. The Disruptor’s abilities are designed to directly affect the opponent and can change the balance of power in combat. A progression system and various items allow for different building options, while boss battles require precise positioning, timing of attacks, and proficiency with the weapons and abilities available.
Following launch, Bladework Games plans to continue developing the game with the community. The developers plan to add new enemies, biomes, weapons, and abilities.
