Sprawl Raider represents the first spin-off in the Splatoon series and, as such, required a different approach from the developers compared to the main chapter. In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, producer Inoue explained what we can expect from updates or new content. Short version: almost nothing.
No DLC
When asked about possible DLC and future updates (one of the game’s most ambiguous aspects), Inoue responded by clarifying the production philosophy behind the project.
