Motorola New Signature 27 showcased at Qualcomm Snapdragon Summita smartphone that kicks off the second generation of the premium series and introduces new terminology related to the year it was launched. The device is one of the first to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
At present, the company has only revealed a partial technical data sheet, but it has already made clear the direction of the product: high performance, more ambitious photography areas and long-term software support. A global debut, including in Italy, is expected at the end of 2026, but price and sale date are still unknown.
Motorola Signature 27 focuses on Snapdragon, B&O cameras and audio
The heart of a smartphone is itself il SoC Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6flanked by the new ArcticMesh cooling system. Motorola combines thermal gel with diamond particles, liquid metal, copper mesh and a 3D vapor chamber, which it says is 40% larger than the previous generation.

Motorola has added a video enhancement engine that can intervene in color, exposure, highlights and shadows on the fly during recording. The stabilization system also combines 3.5-degree OIS and Qualcomm technology.

Designed using Aerospace grade aluminum and glass ceramics. Finishes include PANTONE Coal Smoke (with a Tactical Weave texture) and PANTONE Capulet Olive (with a fabric-inspired surface). The news comes from a partnership with Bang & Olufsen, but Motorola has yet to provide technical details of the system.
On the software side, Signature 27 is expected to be shipped with Android 17 and benefit from seven updates Operating system and security updates for up to seven years, may vary by market, carrier and model.
So for Europe and Italy, the picture is pretty clear in terms of availability, but not so much in terms of cost. Motorola has launched the Italian page of the product and said it will be available globally by the end of 2026.
