The new tactics game has reportedly sold over one million copies so far. However, no official announcement has been made so far.
While the development team may not be doing well since Star Wars: Zero Company was completed, the strategy game itself is clearly still doing well in the market. The first player numbers on Steam showed this immediately after launch.
Now there’s also a statement about Star Wars: Zero Company sales figures. Although this information is not official from Bit Reactor or Electronic Arts, it does come from well-known market analysts Alina analysis. According to their research, the tactics game has now surpassed the one million sales mark.
About 69.9% of those sales are said to come from the popular PC platform Steam. PlayStation accounts for 19.9% and Xbox accounts for 10.2%. Sales of the game are said to have now surpassed the $50 million mark, with the console version accounting for 40.1% of sales as it sells for more money there.
The majority of buyers are from North America and Europe (90% in total), but less than 5% are from Asia. This is not surprising since Star Wars as a brand is more popular in the West.
