Slytherin announced tropical horrorthe next DLC comes from Starship Troopers: Terran Commandwhich will launch a new activity Tropical planet Vega-V. The expansion will feature a nine-mission narrative campaign that the developers say is comparable in scale to City Onslaught, complete with the usual FEDNET promotional footage and new dialogue between characters.
Vega V is a resource-rich planet that the Federation attempts to colonize despite the presence of arachnids. This event will follow two main characters: FEDNET reporter Anna-Sophia Blanchet is sent to the planet to facilitate its colonization and further her career, while Lieutenant Colonel Canul is from Vega V, dedicated to defending the so-called “Green Zone” despite a lack of personnel and equipment.
Missions will take players through different settings, from expanding colonies to frontier outposts, through wildlife wonder parks and jungle swamps, to underground shelters belonging to the now-fallen colony. The campaign will start with a relatively limited arsenal, delegating most of the work to standard infantry, and then gradually introduce new special forces units.

Among the new units are Rangers equipped with Morita carbines, capable of setting up temporary positions and requesting artillery support, air support operators critical to maintaining team efficiency and authorizing air strikes, and power suit snipers equipped with Morita “Triple X” sniper rifles, also targeting armored targets.
This expansion will also increase six new carsThese include the SawMaster 35T (a machine originally designed for felling trees and adapted for military use), the M9D-T Minotaur self-propelled artillery vehicle, the M23C-T Fortis assault carrier and the Mk.II Marauder combat vehicle, equipped with a variety of weapons options.
They will also make conflicts more complex Four new varieties of arachnids. The Explorer can burrow underground to get close to units and attack them at close range, while the Scarab is small but heavily armored. The Hunter, on the other hand, is a predator capable of leaping long distances and spraying caustic and sticky substances. Finally, the King Tanker is a giant version of the Tanker Bug, equipped with extremely strong armor and corrosive acid attacks.
Tropical terror will also expand territorial modelfeaturing new maps, missions, technologies and unlockable cosmetics for the Cobra Company battlegroup. The new Vega-V map will also be available for other battle groups, while territory mode content will also be playable on planets owned by other DLCs, as well as the planet Kwalasha that exists in the base game.
