Action shooter SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada’s servers are shutting down, but you can play offline

Bandai Namco declare Regarding the upcoming end of support for the third-person action shooter SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada. The final content update will be released in October 2026, and the servers will be completely decommissioned in May 2027. However, the game itself doesn’t stop existing. After completing the online service, users will be able to continue playing the game in a separate offline version.

SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada was originally built around a PvPvE adventure in which users must compete against other players and fight against artificial intelligence-controlled opponents. After switching to the offline version, the adventure continues as a PvE-focused action shooter. Some features that require network capabilities will not be available.

In December 2026, developers will open the possibility of saving data for later transfer to an offline version.

SYNDUALITY “Echo of Ada” was released in January 2025, but failed. The number of online players on Steam initially reached 3,622, but this number quickly dropped to 100-150. User reviews are also mixed (40%). In a recent sale, the game was on sale at a 95% discount.
