Game director Brent Gibson said in an interview with the Icy Veins portal that support for Diablo 4 seasons will not stop with the release of the sequel. The executive said the team intends to release new content as long as audiences continue to play the games, citing long-term support for Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 as an example.
While the Lords of Hatred expansion will remain the final story add-on for Part Four, the project’s roadmap is still rich with events – for example, players will see the emergence of the Amazon class next year. Meanwhile, Diablo 5 itself is set to be released in 2029, with the developer promising to reveal the latest details about the plot and launch in 2027.
