The comic book movie “Avengers: Endgame” returned to the big screen and triumphantly topped the global box office list last weekend. Titled “Avengers: Endgame Encore,” the re-release, which was created to spark audience interest ahead of the release of the upcoming blockbuster “Avengers: Endgame,” grossed $86 million worldwide, with $26 million coming from the United States and Canada and $60 million from international markets. According to Disney, it’s the second-best performance in a re-release in history, behind only 2012’s Titanic 3D.
