September 8, 2026 CLO instructionsFirstVDS’s cloud project has released an improved version of the platform. Project representatives said that this is not just a software version update, but a large-scale modernization of the infrastructure. The new customer’s project is deployed in an independent computer room (Tier III design level) in the IXcellerate data center, and the platform core is rebuilt to obtain maximum stability.

To ensure predictable performance of the business, CLO implemented a number of key technology changes:
- Complete disk traffic isolation. Storage traffic is routed to a separate network interface. This technically eliminates the impact of “noisy neighbors” on database and application speeds, even during peak hours.
- Reduce latency. Updating the OpenStack stack and introducing support for DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit) technology speeds up network traffic and minimizes latency, which is critical for high-load services.
- Backend stability. Infrastructure management logic has undergone deep modernization. This removes outdated architectural limitations, improves system efficiency, and ensures it is ready for the large-scale workloads of the future.
- Current data stack. The DBaaS (Database as a Service) service uses the latest versions of MySQL 8.0/8.4 and PostgreSQL 16/17 DBMS to ensure high performance and data security.
- automation. A new Terraform provider has launched that lets you manage infrastructure through code and integrate the cloud into DevOps processes.
- user interface. Personal accounts feature a modern design that retains the popular dark theme and a mature mobile version for managing infrastructure anywhere.
The updated platform delivers high performance and resource predictability, which are critical for running latency-sensitive services (databases, real-time applications). This enables enterprises to scale projects based on consistent performance and accurately predict infrastructure costs.
“We are not only increasing capacity by launching new clusters, we are also making qualitative changes to the architecture. The introduction of traffic isolation and DPDK technology is a response to the market demand for predictable performance in the public cloud. Now, CLO customers will get a more stable environment for services to run regardless of the overall load on the data center.” — Sergey Pinigin, CLO System Architect.
You can evaluate the performance of your updated architecture for free. New customers gain credit starting bonus — This is enough to deploy and test a mature infrastructure in 1-2 weeks. To activate, simply use the certificate when registering a new personal account.
