AOC has detailed the specifications of the new 24.5-inch Agon Pro AGP257FT gaming monitor and announced its launch date. The display debuted in May. The manufacturer is positioning it as an eSports solution. The new product supports native Full HD resolution and 1000Hz refresh rate, and can operate at 1050Hz in Overdrive mode.

Agon Pro AGP257FT is powered by a fast IPS panel with a minimum response time of 0.3ms GTG (0.1ms MPRT). The refresh rate is 1000Hz, rendering each frame every millisecond. This monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified – screen brightness is 450 cd/m2. It claims 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage and 90% sRGB coverage.
Agon Pro AGP257FT is equipped with Motion Blur Reduction Plus (MBR+) technology, which can reduce motion blur of objects on the screen. Unlike traditional MBR technology that flashes (turns on and off) the entire screen backlight at once, MBR+ uses a dual light bar system with 20 independent sets of LEDs.
The monitor claims to support Nvidia G-Sync image synchronization technology. In addition, it also supports EyeCare circularly polarized eye protection technology, which can reduce glare, reduce light glare, and reduce visual fatigue. The monitor also supports low blue light and flicker reduction modes based on DC dimming instead of traditional pulse width modulation (PWM). The display also comes with anti-glare coating.
This monitor is equipped with 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 2.1 and 1 3.5mm audio output. A USB hub with three USB-A (5 Gbps) and one with BC1.2 charging was also announced. This monitor comes with an ergonomic stand that adjusts screen height, swivel and tilt above your desk. It also has a built-in headphone stand.
According to AOC, the Agon Pro AGP257FT will be available in the first quarter of 2027, and the monitor price will be announced closer to launch.
