Fans of the successful game Crimson Desert will have to wait a little longer until the first major DLC pack is released. The developer delayed the release again within a short period of time.
It’s no secret that supplies for the successful Crimson Desert are underway, but the first major DLC is taking longer to arrive than planned. This good work was originally supposed to be released on October 15, 2026, but the developer confirmed the delay again two weeks ago.
At least: we don’t have to wait months for additional content to actually be available. The version was delayed by a full two weeks and is now scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) on October 29, 2026.

News of the postponement was announced via social media. In a statement, the company said: “We are hard at work developing Crimson Desert Enhanced Edition to bring you Pivel’s new adventure. However, we determined that additional development time is needed to ensure a more refined and stable gameplay experience. Therefore, we have decided to delay the release of the DLC by two weeks, to October 29 (GMT/PT).”
He continued: “We know many of you are excited to get back into the game and we apologize for the long wait. We will use the extra time to further refine the content and do everything we can to give you the best experience possible.”
As part of the DLC pack, you’ll be able to sail across the ocean, dive into the shallows to find new treasures and secrets, and explore ruins. The building mode has also been improved, and there are new storylines to complete.
