A few minutes ago Sony showed me PS4 and PS5 games of October PlayStation Plus Essentialall subscribers to the service will be able to redeem and add to their digital collection for free next week.

F1 25 is the latest entry in Codemasters’ racing series, bringing Formula 1 racing to PS5, offering a more refined driving model, improved physics, and a greater focus on strategic race management. The game introduces updates to tire dynamics, more realistic weather and car behavior that reflect performance in the 2025 championship (and 2026 with the purchase of the current season DLC). In addition to career, the braking point narrative mode returns. The story is tense and tortuous. Players’ decisions will affect the development of the plot, and every choice is crucial. “Hunt: Showdown 1896” is an evolved version of Crytek’s famous shooting game. It is set in 1896 and takes place in the United States where supernatural creatures are rampant. It is a first-person shooting game with a PvPvE structure. Players need to hunt down various monsters and threats in different scenes. The characters have specific skills and specialized weapons. It’s not just monsters: players must also be careful of rival teams who will stop at nothing to obtain bounty rewards.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 It is the sequel to the series of voxel aesthetic spin-offs. The game repeats the light-hearted and over-the-top tone of the first chapter, with co-op missions pitting you against giant insects, robots, and alien creatures in fully destructible environments. The character roster is more extensive and includes heroes from various chapters of the saga, each with unique abilities that can be combined into a team. The game introduces new maps, enemies, weapons and modes, retaining the arcade and chaotic approach unique to the series, but with richer and more diverse content.
