The creators of zombie action game Dying Light: Beast are celebrating the project’s first anniversary with a series of festive events and the release of an official infographic. Over the course of twelve months, players showed tremendous activity, wiping out a total of 8.6 billion opponents – from ordinary walking dead to dangerous mutants.
The report, titled “Unfolding,” reveals other interesting numbers. In one year, fans spent a total of 11,000 years playing in the virtual world of Castor Woods, initiated 52 million sessions and completed 1 billion tasks. The most common source of death among an estimated 39 million users is offensive jumpers, while the most popular craft item is a repair kit, even more than standard bandages and lockpicks.
During the celebration, the developers also reflected on the upcoming physical release of the game and the success of its co-op mode, which has united 1.7 million players.
