Huawei has started selling HUAWEI nova 16s Pro and HUAWEI nova 16s smartphones as well as HUAWEI FreeBuds Neo wireless headphones in Russia. The smartphone comes with a 7000 mAh battery with 100 W SuperCharge Turbo charging; the older model had a 200 MP main camera.
At MTS, from October 1 to November 2, new products are discounted up to 13,000 rubles. Including discounted price:

Nova 16s Pro is equipped with Kirin 9010S, weighs 218 grams, is 7.1 mm thick, has a 6.84-inch screen and a brightness of up to 6000 nits. Nova 16s is based on Kirin 8020, weighs 199 grams, has a thickness of 7.3 mm, and a 6.68-inch screen with a brightness of up to 5500 nits. Both models have an IP65 rating and run EMUI 16. Colors: Light blue, iridescent blue, black, and white on younger models.
The nova 16s Pro has a 200 MP main module with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, supplemented by a 50 MP periscope lens with 3.7x optical zoom. The front camera is also 50 MP.
Each FreeBuds Neo headset weighs 4.8 grams. Inside there are 11mm drivers, LDAC support and active noise cancellation. No need to charge, the earphones can work continuously for 10 hours, and with the charging box, they can work continuously for 40 hours.
Let us recall that in the nine months of 2026, Chinese brands accounted for 76% of smartphone sales in Russia, according to MTS data. The segment of 40 to 60,000 rubles to which the new series belongs accounts for approximately 7% of the market in unit terms and 13% in monetary terms.
