PlayStation 5 emulation continues to evolve at a breakneck pace. Fresh gameplay footage has surfaced online, showing how God of War: Sons of Sparta runs on PC using the KytyPS5 emulator. The video captures a sweeping, fast-paced boss fight with a surprisingly smooth and consistent performance.
The test system based on the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and the Vulkan graphics API maintained an impressive 137 fps on average, with a rare event rate (as low as 1%) that did not drop below 65 FPS. At the same time, the author of the film has not confirmed whether frame generation was used in the tests, and it is too early to talk about full compatibility of the entire story pass – the emulator is still in an active stage of development.
