“2XKO”, a free team battle game based on League of Legends, was a failure in the eyes of the American developer Riot Games. As it turned out, the game had no chance of success from the start.

Let us remind you that the release version of 2XKO was released on January 20, 2026, and the upcoming December fix patch will be the last patch for the game. The fighting game has yet to attract enough players to sustain its growth.

As the portal points out computer gamerRiot’s expectations seem unrealistic. The same “Street Fighter 6” attracts 500,000 fewer players per month than it does. In other words, 2XKO was doomed from the start.
After support ends, 2XKO will continue to be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, servers will continue to run, and Riot will refund users for all purchases made before August 20 (the process will be completed in November).
