Embark Studios has announced that evacuation shooter ARC Raiders will be launching a massive free weekend event on PC, PlayStation and Xbox from October 8th to 12th. Everyone can try the full version of the project completely free of charge, and all progress made and accumulated bonuses are guaranteed to be transferred to the full version of the game if purchased.
The promotion coincides with the release of the biggest update to Frozen, which will add the new Pendora Pass map, three dangerous opponents in ARC machines, as well as new weapons, gadgets, and end-game content to the game. The developers are relying on big, deep patches in hopes of drawing new audiences into the project’s harsh world.
