Lian Li releases L-shaped power supplies Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2, with power up to 1350 W, and Edge Hubs

Lian Li announced the launch of 1350, 1200 and 1000W Edge Platinum V2 series power supplies and 1000 and 850W Edge Gold V2 series power supplies, as well as Edge Hub ADV and Edge Hub V2 devices. A typical feature of Edge and Edge V2 power supplies is their L-shaped shape, optimized for dual-chamber situations. All power supply models provided comply with the ATX 3.1 power supply standard.

The dimensions of the new Lian Li power unit are 182 x 86 x 150 mm. The Edge Gold V2 model comes with a flat cable with a braid that mimics the texture of fabric, while the Edge Platinum V2 comes with a cable with a separate braid and pre-installed comb locks (on the motherboard 20+4-pin and graphics card 12V-2×6 power cables). Additionally, the 12V-2×6 connector features a two-color design that allows you to intuitively verify that the power cord connector is fully inserted. The power supply’s internal components are cooled by a 120mm fan running at speeds up to 2000 rpm.

Edge Platinum V2 and Edge Gold V2 power supply models are compatible with the new Edge Hub V2 or Edge Hub ADV. The latter extends USB connectivity and provides real-time bandwidth monitoring through L-Connect 3 software. The Hub ADV version also supports temperature monitoring and protection features, including real-time thermal monitoring of graphics card power lines.

The 1350 W version of the Platinum V2 power supply is equipped with the Edge Hub ADV hub. The latter provides a set of USB ports and headers for connecting six PWM-controlled fans. Additionally, it is equipped with an advanced temperature monitoring system. The NTC sensor directly monitors the 12V-2×6 graphics card power cable connector (supports up to two cables) and the temperature inside the hub.

The hub’s built-in 32-bit Arm-based microcontroller (MCU) provides visual alerts via L-Connect 3 software or email notifications when users step away from their computers. For safety reasons, if the temperature exceeds the threshold for 15 minutes, the system will automatically shut down. Both hubs come with magnetic mounts and can be purchased separately.

The 1350W Platinum V2 also includes an additional set of shortened cables (20+4-pin and 12V-2×6) for systems with motherboards that support flush connectors and can be used with Strimer RGB cables.

For easy maintenance, Edge Gold V2 and Edge Platinum V2 power supplies are equipped with a removable magnetic dust filter, and the Platinum V2 series also has an additional cleaning reminder function. When the fan runs for a certain period of time (every 360 hours), the color of the internal LED indicator light will change to red.
