Nvidia AIB partners began to announce their own versions of the GeForce RTX 3050 6GB, without waiting for the official presentation of the video card. For example, Gigabyte introduced a new product in the Eagle OC and OC Low Profile modifications. Official sales will start in the near future.
The basis of the GeForce RTX 3050 6GB will be the Nvidia GA107 graphics chip in a configuration with 2304 CUDA cores and a 96-bit memory interface through which the GPU interacts with six gigabytes of GDDR6. The video card is characterized by a frequency formula of 1042/1470 MHz (Base/Boost Clock), memory bandwidth of 168 GB/s and a 70-watt TGP level.
Thanks to its small appetites, the new product does not require an additional power connector. According to preliminary information, this will also allow vendors to launch models with passive cooling, like the Palit KalmX. In addition, many manufacturers have prepared low-profile versions of the GeForce RTX 3050 6GB.
As for the price, for example, in Europe, versions of the GeForce RTX 3050 6GB made by MSI were spotted for €185. This generally confirms the information that the recommended price (MSRP) of the new video card is $179.
