Thoughtfulness
Imagine that you finally purchased Apple’s Vision Pro augmented reality glasses for $3,500. And after a few days of active use, they suddenly forgot the password to unlock the device. What do you think should be done?
That’s right, go to the service center! Because if you enter the password several times, the glasses will be locked. It’s immediately obvious, the thoughtfulness, the ecosystem… But for some reason the Cupertino team didn’t think of recovering the password via iPhone.
To get them back to work, you’ll have to take the Vision Pro to your nearest Apple Store or send it to an AppleCare service center. After this, all data on the device will be erased, and the password will be reset to factory settings.
The surprise is that it is simply impossible to do this at home – Vision Pro does not have a USB-C port for connecting to a computer. There is a special belt for developers, but it costs $300. And it will be even funnier if it turns out that the password changes itself due to a VisionOS bug. Wait a minute though. The most stable OS, this cannot be. Is it possible?
