After Florida Joker’s waiver of compensation for the GTA 6 trailer, Lawrence Sullivan decides to throw in the towel and not take legal action against Rockstar. Sullivan himself made this known with a video which, as easily predictable, is already making the rounds on social media.
In the clip published on TikTok, the eccentric Joker enthusiast with his face and body tattooed in the image and likeness of his favorite antihero emerges from the branches of a tree to address Rockstar and Take-Two directly, explaining to them that “we need to talk guys. Let’s put an end to this matter that has been going on for two months, I have decided that I will no longer sue you. But let me work with you, give me a voice acting role for that character, take me on promotional tours, give me a stand at Comicon to sign autographs and things like that.”
In the video, the Joker from Florida also states that his collaboration with Rockstar is a ‘duty’, due to what he himself defines as “the great promotion I have already done for GTA 6. In short, guys, there is no blog, site, social network or forum that doesn’t know me and that hasn’t addressed the issue of my presence in the GTA 6 video. I helped make the game more relevant, I’m the reason why GTA 6 was talked about so much!”.
Listening to the (apparently) conciliatory statements of the Florida Joker, the video game soap opera concerning him would hardly seem destined to end soon.
