Japanese manufacturer Sycom previously presented several Nvidia video cards with large air cooling, which use Noctua fans. Now the company has gone further and decided to offer the GeForce RTX 4080 Super with ultra-level hybrid cooling, which also uses Noctua fans. The new model combines liquid cooling and standard air cooling.
The video card uses a ready-made Asetek Hybrid GFX 240mm cooling system, which was previously used in the top GeForce RTX 30 series models from Sycom. This is water cooling with an external 240 mm radiator, plus active cooling of the radiator directly on the board itself.
In this case, Sycom equipped the external radiator with two quiet and high-performance Noctua NF-A12x25 fans with a diameter of 120 mm. The liquid circulating in it helps to cool the graphics chip, which is covered with a water block. All other elements on the boards are covered with a large radiator, which is blown by three fans.
This combination should certainly provide ultra-low operating temperatures. The manufacturer claims that the Sycom GeForce RTX 4080 Super Hydro is 15 degrees cooler than conventional video cards in this series. But you won’t be able to purchase such a miracle video card separately, since Sycom sells pre-assembled PCs. Therefore, these video cards are only available in ready-made assemblies that Sycom sells on the Japanese market.
