The unofficial PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is currently in good condition. While there are still some visual bugs and graphical glitches, the game is fully playable from start to finish. In addition, PC gamers will be able to enjoy the New Game+ mode.
The irony is that PS5 doesn’t yet have a New Game+ mode. Sony and Insomniac Games plan to add it in March 2024. So, in a way, PC gamers will be able to enjoy features that are not present in the official PS5 version.
At the end of the article you can find a video from the latest V10 build for PC. As you’ll see, the game isn’t entirely visually pleasing yet. However, this video demonstrates the New Game+ mode. So yes, it really is.
It’s incredible what the modding team has achieved. As we said, this unofficial PC port is based on an early build that was leaked last month. And to create something like this based on a leaked build is simply incredible.
Sony has not officially announced plans to bring Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC. Ironically, by the time Sony announces a PC version, this unofficial port may already be in a fairly stable state.
Once the modding team fixes the visual/graphical glitches, I hope to see a proper menu for PC. The game could use some graphics tweaks for PC. Let’s also hope they add support for KB&M.
