Pocket Pair Studio hardly expected that the game Palworld would become so popular. Their project on Steam almost became a record holder for simultaneous online play, and in just a couple of weeks the developers attracted a total of more than 19 million players. Such a successful release pushes the creators of Palworld to expand, and the developers note that they are sorely short of staff.
On their social networks, the authors of Palworld announced the search for new employees. They write that a lot of people are needed, and for different positions, so specialists with almost any experience in the field of game development can contact Pocket Pair if they are looking for work:
We still want to do a lot in Palworld, but we are sorely lacking in “friends.” We are hiring for all positions, but we are especially looking for Planning/Engineering positions! We don’t care about the engine you know how to work with. So if you’re interested in creating a brand new game, apply!
Let us remind you that 2024 continued the trend of reductions in the gaming industry. While Pocket Pair is expanding, many studios and publishers are undergoing major staff cuts. In particular, Microsoft plans to lay off about 1,900 specialists.
