One of the topics discussed since the beginning of this year is the refusal of some large stores to sell games on discs for Xbox. Judging by the incoming information, a tiny proportion of players are ready to buy projects on discs for Microsoft consoles, which is why it is unprofitable for stores to keep them on sale. There was also recently information that one of the departments that was almost completely closed as part of cuts at Microsoft Gaming was the department that was involved in the release of Xbox games on physical media.
It appears that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is still planning to release on disc, as indicated by the opening of pre-orders for a physical copy of the game on Gamestop in Italy. Players are offered to pre-order a disc for Xbox Series X for 80.98 euros | S with the expected game from MachineGames studio. The release date is listed as December 31, 2024, which is clearly a placeholder. But, despite the lack of an exact release date, pre-orders can be placed.
Let us remind you that it previously became known that the Xbox team does not plan to release Senua’s Saga Hellblade II on discs.
