The first teaser trailer for the third film about the chatty mercenary Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), which was shown during the 2024 Super Bowl, has appeared online. The film received the official title “Deadpool and Wolverine.”
According to the synopsis posted on YouTube, the third installment of the beloved franchise sees the blood-soaked mercenary brought into the Marvel Universe thanks to the “Temporal Change Management” seen in the Loki series, where he will team up with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
In addition to Reynolds and Jackman, the film stars Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni and Matthew Macfadyen. Many of these actors starred in previous Deadpool installments. Macfadyen plays a new character working at UVI, while Corrine’s role is still being kept under wraps. Deadpool and Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy, who previously worked with Reynolds on The Hero and The Adam Project.
The world premiere of the film will take place on July 26, 2024.
