The actor is not against modern technology. The main thing is to “comply with ethical standards.”
In an interview with Business Insider, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen spoke about rejuvenation in the film Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Fate and why he decided to do it.
The film, released in 2023, begins with a lengthy flashback in which a digitally rejuvenated Harrison Ford tries to save the Spear of Longinus from the Nazis. In the same flashback there is also a rejuvenated Mads Mikkelsen, who played the scientist Jürgen Voller.
Initially, Mads says, for the role of the young version of Voller, he was offered to simply dye his hair black. But after changing my hair color, it became clear that this was not enough.

I told them, “You know what? I have black hair, but I look like an old woman. Let’s do something.”
And although the rejuvenation process that Mads went through was simpler than that of Harrison Ford, the actor, 25 years younger, looked as believable as possible.
Mads himself has nothing against digital rejuvenation. The main thing here, according to the actor, is the presence of artistic justification and adherence to ethical standards.

I don’t like the idea that we have to be forever young. But if you manage it well and can jump from the past to the future and back again, then I think it’s absolutely worth it.
This is interesting
