Map creator Mirage for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Counter-Strike 2 Michael Hull said that he regrets selling his creation in hand Valve – the portal drew attention to this DTF.
The gay designer noted that he could not predict the success of multiplayer shooters – otherwise he would not have agreed to the deal in the past. However, the conditions of the latter were allegedly too good:
Today marks 11 years since I sold Mirage to Valve. If I could have predicted the great success of CS:GO and CS2, I would never have given it away. The company offered a very good deal back then, but now it has made changes [в карту], which I don’t like. But still, thank you, Mirage.
Next, the author noted that he did not like the changes at point “A” of the map and elements that change the style of play of users.
Some game fans thanked the author for creating the map, noting its high level of quality. At the same time, some felt that the game designer in the past made the right choice when he sold his card to Valve.
Hull currently holds the position of Senior Level Designer at the studio. MachineGameswho was involved in the series Wolfenstein and is now working on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
