Just one day after the delivered patch v0.14.1.0 for Escape from Tarkov, developer studio Battlestate has to row back again. As the game’s account on X (formerly Twitter) explains, after installing the update, several critical issues and bugs were discovered that led to this decision. Patch 0.14.1.0 for Escape from Tarkov actually had numerous bug fixes in its sights, but also came under criticism because of the announcement of upcoming microtransactions. The tenor of the comments on Patch announcement on X but reads primarily negatively for another reason. Some users not only have to contend with “infinite Scav loading times” – probably one reason for the rollback – but the recoil of individual weapons is also criticized. The progress that players have achieved in Escape from Tarkov during the comparatively short lifespan of version 0.14.1.0 remains unaffected by the rollback.
