This was once the site of the Oregon Trail.
The developers of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator have posted a set of screenshots of Nebraska, a state from one of the future additions to the game. The screenshots highlight the state’s railway network and landmarks.
At one time, the Oregon Trail, the route along which settlers traveled to the western United States, passed through Nebraska. In the expansion, players will see monuments and other objects related to the Oregon Trail.
In addition, the screenshots included cemeteries and the world’s largest railway junction – it is located in Nebraska. If the developers are not mistaken, then 10 thousand carriages pass here every day.
While exploring the virtual version of the state, players will see not only the railroads, but also the trains running along them. In fact, the developers note, Nebraska has such a dense rail network that players will almost always be riding near trains.
The release date for the add-on for American Truck Simulator about Nebraska has not yet been announced.
